Are balloon tours safe?

Yes. Hot air ballooning in Cappadocia is strictly regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority. Pilots are professionally licensed and balloons undergo regular technical checks. Flights are cancelled for safety when weather conditions are not suitable.

How long does a balloon tour last?

A standard balloon flight lasts approximately 60 minutes (1 hour) in the air. Including hotel pickup, breakfast, pre-flight preparation, post-flight celebration and hotel drop-off, the total activity time is about 3–4 hours.

What time is hotel pickup?

Flights take place at sunrise, so times vary by season. In summer, pickup is between 04:00 and 05:00; in winter, between 06:00 and 07:00. The exact time is confirmed the day before your flight.

Can children join balloon tours?

Children under 6 are not allowed on balloon tours for safety and basket size reasons. Children aged 6–12 may participate when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Can pregnant guests join balloon tours?

What happens if the flight is cancelled?

If flights are cancelled due to weather, we first offer to move your booking to the next day (subject to availability). If you cannot join the next day or no space is available, your full payment is refunded without deduction.

What should I wear?

Mornings can be cool (even in summer), so we recommend dressing in layers and bringing a light jacket. Comfortable shoes (e.g. trainers) are recommended; high heels are not suitable.

Is transfer included in the price?

Yes. Pick-up from hotels in the Cappadocia area (Göreme, Ürgüp, Avanos, Uçhisar, Ortahisar, Çavuşin) and drop-off after the flight are included in the price.
